Lacey and Matt l 5.26.12 l St. Mary's Church, Scituate and the Atlantica, Cohasset

Lacey and Matt also wed on Memorial Day weekend. The sun was shining and Lacey looked absolutely stunning in her v-neck gown. The ceremony took place at St. Mary's church in Scituate, MA which is one of our favorite churches to shoot in. The light is absolutely beautiful and provides for some stunning ceremony moments. We shot the formals at a private residence overlooking Scituate harbor and lighthouse that simply can't be beat in terms of location, as well as at the Scituate Lighthouse. The home is actually owned by the grandmother of a previous bride who so graciously has let us use the property from time to time for shooting. The reception took place at another favorite of ours, Atlantica Restaurant, which we have shot many great weddings at throughout the past. It sits directly on Cohasset Harbor in Cohasset, MA and we are always able to get great sunset shots from the docks on the property. It was truly a beautiful night and congratulations to a wonderful couple.

Deanna and Tom l 5.25.12 l The Riverview

Deanna and Tom were married on a bright and sunny afternoon on Memorial Day weekend. Deanna is the college roommate of my second shooter Ashley, so Ashley was actually a bridesmaid in wedding and the girls all looked beautiful in floor length Navy dresses. The mass was held in a gorgeous church in Westfield, MA which followed by stops at a big red country barn and flower bridge for the formals. Their reception followed at The Riverview in Simsbury, CT and Deanna and her Mother had worked so hard to ensure that everything looked beautiful. I had such a pleasure capturing the day for Deanna and Tom.

Kara and Sean l 5.19.12 l The Red Lion Inn

Kara and Sean were married in a beautiful old church in the center of Cohasset, MA. Kara's dress and jewelry were stunning, and we had so much fun photographing the bridal party and bride and groom on the town green. We then were led by a bagpiper to the reception location, The Red Lion Inn, which is also one of our favorite venues to shoot. The lofted barn always makes for great photos from above as Kara and Sean danced the night away with their friends and famiy.

Kara's necklace was absolutely stunning.

Cassandra and Jeremy in Chatham

I was very lucky to work with Bridget Rynne and her family during her wedding in 2006. One of my first images that I shot that day was of Cassandra and another bridesmaid getting ready. We were very happy Cassandra selected us to cover her wedding to Jeremy in Chatham this summer.

The day was perfect and we enjoyed the beautiful ceremony and wonderful reception at the Chatham Bars Inn.

Who We Are:

Pamela Price: I am a very lucky person to have landed here in North Marshfield and share half of all of my Saturdays covering beautiful weddings! I love the beach, my family and of course my two crazy dogs.

I have been covering assignments for over 20 years as a photojournalist. Now that I am here in Marshfield, I am concentrating on only weddings and engagements. We have done some beautiful babies in the studio and love doing that for all of my former clients.

My team is ready to be a part of your wedding day and do the best job possible for all of our clients. We know how important that decision is for all couples and are honored to have been a part of many beautiful wedding days!

Ashley Burr: Second Shooter, Assistant

My shooting assistant ,Ashley Burr, is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in accounting. She is a wonderful second photographer that has been working with me for the past 6 seasons. She spent a lot of time here at 180 Spring Street with my son Max starting in 2006, and I always enjoyed having her available to help with editing my images after my weddings. She started shooting with me late in the season of 2007. She shoots the second angle and does a great job. I always love editing her work and am always amazed at what she captures. She is a fantastic photographer and is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

Ashley has been hanging with the guys early in the day while I start with the bride getting ready. We make a good team and I am very lucky to have such a great assistant that I can count on for all of my wedding weekends.

Her family lives in East Hartford, CT and spends summers at Pleasure Beach in Waterford, CT. She loves relaxing at home with her dogs and cats. Fortunately for our family, she also enjoys spending some of her weekends here with us in Marshfield.

Linda McGrath: Studio Manager

If you haven't already met my studio manager, Linda McGrath, I just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know about her and her responsibilities here at the studio. Linda was the "mother of the bride" from one of our beautiful weddings in 2007. Her daughter ,Kinsley, got married in April 2007 at the Chatham Bars Inn. Kinsley and Marc Minella were lucky to have a perfectly overcast day at the beach that brought some of my favorite photos for 2007. (Remember brides, do not despair if the sun is not out, it is actually better for photos if we do not have strong sunlight) Linda was my main contact for the wedding since her daughter and son-in-law were living in Manhattan. She had such a fantastic eye for detail and the wedding was perfect.

Fleur Pang was working as my studio manager helping me with e-mail traffic from her home. She is a wedding planner that I had met at another wedding here on the South Shore. Her company, A Warm Reception, is based in Duxbury and she was a huge help to me during the 2006-2007 season. With her busy schedule with wedding planning and three small children, she did not have the time to help so I thought of Linda. Luckily, she was available and has been working with me for almost 3 years now.

Linda helps answer all e-mail messages and comes to all of the meetings with potential clients. This gives her the opportunity to meet potential clients from the first day they come to the studio. Linda is enjoying doing all of the retouching that has to be done for all of the albums and enlargements we are making her in the studio. She helps get all of our album designs delivered and makes sure all of the print orders are shipped directly to you as soon as possible. She is a great help to me and I am hoping everyone will get a chance to meet and work with her.

Linda lives in Duxbury with her husband Jon and her two labradoodles Ollie and Finn.

If you haven't been down to the new studio, please stop in. Linda and I work every Tuesday and Thursday. When I bought my 300 year old farmhouse 13 years ago, I always had the vision of my two story barn being my photography studio. After a long renovation of the house, we finally got around to getting the barn done. I had plenty of contractors look at the barn to do the renovations. One of the contractors even suggested tearing it down and rebuilding! I love my old home and my old barn and proceeded to look for someone who would get the work done and not encourage destroying the historic property we have left here in Marshfield. My dear friend Kris and her husband David had a crew from Maine that helped renovate their home in Boston and they were available to do our home and barn in the summers of 2006 and 2007. My barn is now finished and my studio is beautiful.
